Living where we do requires many sacrifices. We don't have gym memberships or iphones. I don't get my hair or nails done. John doesn't go snowboarding nearly as much as he'd like and we never go out to eat. We did, however, get to stare at this on our way to my OB appointment last night:In case your making yourself feel better by telling yourself that it was probably freezing cold, it wasn't. I think it was probably 85 degrees yesterday. Take that, January!

9:55 AMWhile a beautiful picture, I'm at the point where I'll take NOT living in a rented 2bdrm apartment over the views. And frankly, I'm not willing to pay over 1/2 million $ in order to have that.- J-Dub said...

12:15 PMdont get too excited, Sheri. it's only a condo and it's not even ours yet. But, it is only three miles from the beach! (Can you tell I'm trying to make myself feel better about spending a 1/4 million dollars for a condo?)And I'm with you. It's totally not worth it. Even with the housing prices dropping it's still not worth it. We had been trying for years to leave CA and this is where we ended up! The Lord works in mysterious ways!- Jamie Onken said...
5:09 PMI know I'm going to miss ca when we move to cold Boston. I told nick that I am going to take advantage of every nice day until we leave. I've already been to the beach to lay out this week and I plan on going again on Friday. I love California.- J said...
