Name My Baby

Just about everything about this pregnancy/baby has been the complete opposite of Devan. To name a few...

Devan: I found out I was expecting when I was already two months along.
Baby: I found out when I was three weeks along. This makes for a very long 10 month gestation.

Devan: Easy, smooth pregnancy.
Baby: I have asthma, need I say more?

Devan: I had all the blood work/tests done possible.
Baby: Blood work?

Devan: FINALLY went into labor at 41 weeks which resulted in a large baby/emergency c-section/uterus tear/blood transfusion.
Baby: Cesarean at 39. Hallelujah!

What I'm hoping all this means is this:

Devan: One word: COLIC.
Baby: Perfectly angelic?

Is it possible? Everyone tells me that colic doesn't usually repeat itself. I'm really hoping this is true. Also, one more thing.

Devan: Had a name picked out/nursery set up when I was probably six months along.
Baby: No name, no nursery.

Which leads me to the point of this post. I would love to hear your name suggestions. I'm open to anything because I've spent HOURS online and reading a baby name book and have come up with next to nothing. PLEASE give us some suggestions! Thanks.

P.S. We are having a girl, in case you don't stop by our blog often.

I don't have names for you, but I can tell you our second is way more mellow than our first. She sleeps better too.

Oohhh..I like Delany too...I would always say that Kendra is a fabulous name! Keni was my nickname growing up...ha ha ha! I think I would stick to grandma's selection. I always like middle names that have a meaning (i fyou do middle names for girls) like Tori's middle name is Eden, or you know...a family name.

I like all those name suggestions, especially Finley, Delaney, Sidney...ok I like them all. If you decide to go with Hannah, don't spell it Hanne, or people will call her Hannie with their voices going up like it's a question.

I've decided picking names for children is just really extremely difficult...I don't have a kid but I'm always trying to think of what the kid's name could be and we can never agree or find one that both Japanese and Americans can pronounce that we both like...good luck...I'm sure whatever you pick will be beautiful...

Maybe later I'll list some of the ones I have thought of.

I think it is unanimous - Delany it is! And just think; you can tell her that her favorite grandma named her! And her grandma will probably leave her all her money! But to play it safe, you better make her middle name Quinn.

We could use some cash, so I think I will leave it up to whoever can pay the most on Ebay to name my offspring.

Bids start at $0.99, NR, NIB
Buy it now @ $1,000,000 (includes copy of birth certificate showing legal name)

Okay, Aunt Corinne has not put her name in yet..how about Laura (after great-grandma Claypool, which is her middle name) It goes very smooth together when you say it: Laura Wallet!!!!!!

Hilary likes the name Carly Lynn. We need a girl to carry on the "Lynn" middle name tradition. We also like Casey Lynn. Please, no "Finley." We also like "Kitty," "Gizmo," and "Bunzy." You see how good we are at naming things! That's our two cents worth. If we come up with any more we'll let you know.

I agree with Grandma Wallet, the "Lynn" must continue!!! It is family tradition...Even Grandma Claypool would agree with that one. Carly Lynn is nice..or Laura Lynn Wallet has a nice ring to it?

Mom, you have other children who will breed. Ask them to name them "Lynn".

We aren't the only ones who are going to have kids...

    Suggestions noted. :)

Morgan you are so lucky you had a cool last name like Quinn--There's no way I'm naming a child with a middle name as Tanaka...blech!
